Barrel 25 honors Charles Lindbergh, who in 1927, boarded the SPirit fo St. Louis, a single engine monoplane, and took off for the first ever nonstop flight from New York to Paris. During his 33.5-hour odyssey, Lingbergh encountered storms, heaby seas - flying just 10 feer over the ocean at times - and often navigated by dead-reckoning due to a lack of navigational equipment.
