The agave Espadin used in Pierde Almas Espadin takes 8 to 10 years to develop. This Mezcal is produced in San Luis del Rio by maestro mezcalero Gregorio Velasco Luis. Each bottling has a slightly varying alcohol by volume (ABV), although they all hover around 49%. It has a savory finish with flavors of smoke, pepper, and cocoa, as well as a lengthy savory aftertaste that lingers in the tongue.
