Gagnon-Kennedy - Napa Valley Cuvée - Napa Valley (750 ml)
Gagnon-Kennedy is a boutique Napa Valley partnership between winemaker Marc Gagnon (formerly of Bryant Family and Screaming Eagle) and sommelier Michael Kennedy. Their mission is to craft terroir-driven wines from historic vineyard sites across Napa and Sonoma.
The Napa Valley Cuvée is designed as a “symphony” of Napa’s terroir — a masterful blend of fruit from prestigious AVAs including Coombsville, Rutherford, Oakville, and Calistoga. This cuvée captures a broad, expressive picture of the region by blending fruit from both mountain and valley floor sites.
The 2021 vintage, shaped by a dry season and moderate weather, yielded small, intensely concentrated berries. The result is a wine of structure, freshness, and deep complexity.
Pairing
Excellent with grilled ribeye, lamb chops, or mushroom-based dishes. Also pairs beautifully with aged cheddar and high-cacao dark chocolate.
Points
93 Points, Wine-Searcher (aggregated rating)
Selected by World’s Best Sommeliers (2024)
