The Spice of Rye.Ā This was the first Barrel Series (finishing rum in distinctive barrels) we ever did. I like Rye and, of course, like my Rum ā so why not marry some of the flavors? The rye whiskey aged in these barrels was ābarely legalā (51% Rye) which I felt would play well with our aged rum.
