OVERVIEW:
The morning was cold, Will and Greeze werenāt themselves, Bob was craving biscuits, and James was ready to knock it out of the park. We started the day tasting numerous bourbons fresh off the truck that delayed our pick that morning. We started with a couple of āno'sā because of it being a more standard 5 yr MGP offering. Then we tasted what Greeze calls the āCigarette Blendā. (which isnāt a blend so heās an idiot) It was a smokey treat for all of us, it woke Will and Greeze up.
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: As previously noted this is a smokey treat and it is evident on the nose with a mixture of fruit and butterscotch.
- Taste: It starts outĀ similarĀ to the first drag with your morning coffee. The sweetness is evident all the way through. It comes in with a sweet mixture of cinnamon and dark fruits. The smoke that was so prevalent on the nose was somewhat nonexistent.
- Finish: It is medium to long with a welcoming mouth tingle that brings back that sweet cinnamon.
