Bertie’s Bear Gulch Bourbon honors legendary bootlegger Bertie Brown who homesteaded in Fergus County, Montana back in the 1920’s.

Our Bertie’s Cask Strength Bourbon is unique – 83% corn, 14% rye, 3% malted barley, a traditional, rich flavored bourbon. Aged for at least 4 years, triple pot distilled and is a blend of 53-gallon #3 char barrels.

This Texas crafted bourbon is distilled with pure Texas limestone water and is bottled at full cask strength. This bourbon is exceptionally smooth and balanced and drinks like a 90 proof whiskey.

Tasting Notes: 

• Color: Darker gold with amber and reddish-brown hues
• Nose: Toasted oak with morello cherries and hints of spice.
• Palate: Caramelized vanilla, toasted walnuts and almonds with allspice and brown sugar.
• Finish: Full bodied, exceptionally smooth, and balanced finish.
