Terra Savia - Mendocino County - Cabernet Sauvignon
Overview: At Terra SƔvia, we make award-winning, estate wines and premium extra virgin olive oil. We are passionately involved during 100% of the entire process from the field to the finished product. From farming select grapes and olives organically on our estate to bottling at our modern winery and olive milling facility, we also maintain strict quality control throughout and adhere to the highest standards of organic farming. We are certified by the California Council of Organic Farmers (CCOF) and consistently win double gold, gold, and silver medals at local and national wine competitions. Since founding Terra Savia in 2004, we have also been farming our food and keeping a growing menagerie of friends on the grounds: sheep, goats, cats, dogs, owls, king pigeons and more. Our estate lies in the beautiful Sanel Valley in Mendocino County, which is home to over 1,000 species of plants and animals otherwise endangered by development. A portion of our proceeds from all sales is donated to wildlife rescue in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.
Tasting Notes: An extremely approachable, fruit forward and dry Cabernet. Soft tannins with dusty aromas of blueberries and blackberries make for a versatile, food-friendly Cab.
