Ezra Brooks Single Barrel Bourbon (Barrel # 7849880 - "World's Greatest Dad") - Bourbon Pursuit & Keg N Bottle Private Barrel Pick 750 ml
BARREL DETAILS:
Barrel # 7849880, Barrel Fill Date - 11/20/2017, Bottled - 11/01/2022, Age 4 years 349 days, Proof 120, 60% ABV
TASTING NOTES: by Brian Beyke
- Nose - Mmmmm. Expansive, pillowy, creamy brown sugar, dried cherry, barrel char, and milk chocolate fill the nose. Leaning desserty but the grounding low notes keep it in check.
- Palate - The palate is mouth-coating and spiced, but not without a lovely bright cherry cordial and decently aged oak sweetness carrying through.
- Finish - The finish brings in an almost custardy vanilla sweetness that trails on, interwoven with pops of cinnamon throughout.
